I just want to clarify something. It seems on a youtube video comments section someone has taken offense to me and what I am doing. Here is what they had to say, "Your channel name makes it sound like you've made being in a wheelchair the only part of your personality. And I have a disability and am offended by your channel name. "Cripple" is not yet a reclaimed term, and is still offensive." First, in no way, shape, or form am I making fun of people with disabilities, I hope people aren't offended by their disability, because I am most certainly not. With this channel I hope people with and without disabilities can both become comfortable with it. Second, I'm officially "Reclaiming" the term Cripple. I'm sure it's not for everyone but if you know me, this is how I am it's not an act. The term CRIPPLE has meaning to tons of different circumstances, not just wheelchairs. Furthermore, I'm The Cripple Guy, not calling everyone with disabilities cripples. I'm 100% comfortable with who I am and my life as a whole. My hope is that other people can see that disabilities don't define you as a person. To everyone, with or without disabilities: Don't think of the thousands of things you can't do, Think of the Millions of things you can do. Life is what you make it, Just roll with it!!!!
